What are door edge chips?
Paint is thinnest on sharp edges. Edges are where paint coverage is hardest to get. So door edges chip first. The chips are often in a row, because the door has hit the same wall or car more than once.
What kind of repair does it need?
Touching up each chip, or respraying the edge if it has all gone. Do any chip showing bare metal first, because bare steel rusts.
