What is two-layer paint damage?

More than one colour in the same mark means more than one thing happened. Usually it is a deposit sitting on top of a scratch cut in underneath. This one is small: it all fits inside a patch shorter than a credit card.

What kind of repair does it need?

Two jobs, in order. The deposit comes off first. Then whatever is cut in underneath is repaired. Because it is small, that is usually a spot repair. How deep it goes decides the price.

When a mark goes to different depths, the deepest point decides the repair. The shallower parts are fixed along with it.

What to do next
